Finland's first international Pole Dance event has now come to a magnificent end: the winner was Oona Kivelä from Rock the Pole, Finland.  The evening was a total success for both the participants and the audience. The best performances were of world class standard and the invited performances and all the rest made the audience laugh, cry, or hold their breath in awe.  Pole Art 2009 included 19 performances from showcase couples and groups to intermediate and advanced competitive solo performances from Sweden, Finland, and Russia. Our esteemed Panel of Judges with members from Finland, Denmark, France, Australia, and the UK, chose the winner and two runners up. Check the outcome under Results! Suomen ensimmäinen kansainvälinen tankotanssitapahtuma tuli upeaan päätökseen: kisan voitti suomalainen Oona Kivelä Rock the Pole -koulusta. Ilta oli täydellinen menestys sekä esiintyjille että yleisölle. Parhaat esitykset olivat maailmanluokkaa ja kutsutut esiintyjät ja kaikki muutkin saivat yleisön vuorotellen nauramaan, itkemään ja pidättämään henkeään ihailusta. Tapahtumassa nähtiin 19 soolo- ja ryhmäesitystä Ruotsista, Suomesta ja Venäjältä.
